As of now, the new major version 5.0 of the ETIM BMEcat guideline is available for download. In addition to improvements on existing fields, this new version also offers many new elements, to meet the market’s current product master data needs.

For example, several fields were added regarding the transport of products that contain hazardous substances. For a quick overview of all changes to the previous version, see the change log at the end of the guideline.

As announced before, this will be the last version of ETIM BMEcat. Soon we will start the development of a new international ETIM exchange format. If you missed this announcement then please see this earlier news item.
