In 2015 ETIM International released the first internationally coordinated guideline for suppliers to provide ETIM based product data according to BMEcat®, that aims to give international suppliers a clear and uniform exchange format to distribute their product data to all ETIM supporting countries. Now ETIM has released an online tool, that validates XML-files against the ETIM BMEcat Guideline V3.1 and the classification release ETIM 6.0. If the file is validated as error free then a certification document can be downloaded. This online tool is available free of charge but exclusively for ETIM members. You can access the tool via the link on our public or ETIM CMT homepage or click here. For more information or login credentials please contact your local ETIM office.
